Leading trade publication Travel Weekly have published a feature on what they consider are some of the best Swim-Up rooms and suites around the world. We like the fact they’ve not just selected hotels completely out of reach of what most people spend on their holiday, here’s the list:
Calabash Cove, St Lucia
Calabash Cove has four swim-up junior suites equipped with their very own jacuzzis. If you want to lounge and relax where the water is cooler, you’re in luck. The swim up suites are just steps away from the infinity edge pool, where you will be able to dip in and out of the crystal clear water at your leisure.
You will have unrestricted and private access to the pool directly from the patio of your suite, allowing you to come and go whenever you please. One of the best features of the swim up junior suites is its proximity to the in-pool bar, which serves up signature cocktails during happy hour. This makes for the perfect complement to the breathtaking sunset. Gaze out over the stunning waters with a drink in hand and your better half by your side and enjoy your much-deserved holiday!
Price Guide: 7 nights Bed & Breakfast will cost you around £1,800pp based on two adults sharing a Swim Up Junior Suite, including flights and transfers.
Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa, Mauritius
Surprisingly there are no Swim-up Suites in any property in the Indian Ocean. That is until the Victoria Beachcomber completes it’s refurbishment and opens them in January 2018. No one has seen them as yet, so why would they make this list? Our guess is that this property is already so beautiful and Beachcomber always do everything in style so they will undoubtedly be spectacular
The 17 rooms, each stretching across 50sq m, will allow guests to step straight into an 800sq m pool, opening on to the ocean with a private beach. The resort renovation that will add another 23 beachfront suites, alongside a new steak restaurant and pool bar.
